FAQ

Do I need to refrigerate it?

Nope!

Nut butters are naturally shelf-stable and don’t need to be refrigerated.

Of course some people prefer to refrigerate it and that will extend its shelf life so feel free to do so if you prefer.

The Oregon Hazelnut Chocolate Spread may get a bit too loose if its stored at too high of a temperature. If that happens just toss the jar in the fridge for a few hours and it should re-harden and be good to go.

What makes Eliot’s “grown-up” nut butters?

Well as adults we tend to like more interesting and bolder flavors then we did as kids. We also tend to eat less junk and unhealthy ingredients.

So our nut butters are grown-up as they always have minimal, high quality ingredients and bold flavors that adults and kids with “grown-up” tastes love

Do you use palm oil in your nut butters?

Never.

Ever.

Seriously.

Why would we cut down trees, process and ship them across the globe to make nut butter?

We frankly believe that much of the nut butter on the market is “unnatural” as truly all you need to make nut butter is to grind the nuts until they turn into a “butter”.

We firmly believe that other brands need to do their part to not only protect forests and endangered species but also to stop filling their jars with unnatural, harmful junk.

Enough.

What if there’s a problem with my order or I don’t like my jar?

Please email info@eliotsadultnutbutters.com. We will always work to make things right as we wouldn’t be here without you. We also are always looking to improve and learn from our mistakes since we’re a small team of human beings trying to make and ship the best tasting nut butters in the world. Mistakes will happen and we’ll do our best to fix them.
